The Sacred Heart of Jesus Chaplaincy is launching the Balik Handog Program. Announcements and invitations for the parishioners to join the program started this January 9-10 weekend, during the Saturday anticipated mass and the Sunday masses. Those who will join the program are invited to make their Balik Handog offering during the offertory at the mass for the first Sunday of February and every first Sunday thereafter. Below are the message of Fr. Francis Siguan, Jr on the launching of the program and the details regarding this program.

What is the Balik Handog Program:
The Balik Handog is a program of our parish where individuals and/or families and institutions are invited to offer a portion of their earnings and also share their time and talent to the Lord for our parish’s welfare and needs. It is in line with responsible stewardship that acknowledges that all the gifts we receive are from God thus, we should not only take care of these blessings but also offer these back to God in gratitude of His generosity.

Message from Fr. Francis

Integral human development has always been the subject of reflections of our Popes in modern times. Here, great
spiritual leaders teach us to understand our neighbors as fellow humans. Hence, human development becomes a vocation of every human person. Fraternal concern is always central in a Christian heart.
Thank God the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus has always been our inspiring guide and model on what it means to practice charity. This puts us into the right perspective of loving our neighbor in very natural way. Balik handog program is an attempt of our faith community for a more meaningful link to each other in love.
